Aloo mutter kurma recipe

Ingredients –
Potato – 3 medium size chopped
Green peas – 1 cup
Onion – 1 cup chopped
Tomato – 1 cup chopped
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch chopped
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Garlic – 8 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch
Green chilies
Coconut – 1 cup grated
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
Cashew nuts – 10 no’s
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
How to make or prepare aloo matar kurma –
Make a coarse paste of Ginger,garlic and green chilly and keep aside.
Make a paste of Grated coconut,poppy seeds,cinnamon and cashew nut by adding sufficient water into the mixing jar and keep aside.
Take a pressure cooker pan heat it by adding oil in it,when oil is hot add chopped onion into it fry it till it becomes translucent,add crushed ginger garlic,green chilly paste fry till the raw smell goes then add chopped tomatoes
Fry tomato till it becomes soft add chopped coriander leaves fry for a minute and add chopped potato fry for a while add green peas
Add coriander powder,turmeric powder,chilly powder and salt to taste mix altogether fry for 1 or 2 minutes add water and pressure cook for 1 whistle.When it becomes cool open the lid of the pan bring the curry to boil add prepared coconut,cashew cinnamon and poppy seed paste into it .
Boil the curry for 5 to 8 min and turn off the flame.
Aloo mutter kurma is ready to be served.Enjoy this delicious curry with naan,roti,akki roti/poori.
