Whole moong egg curry recipe – Healthy egg curry

Whole moong dal egg curry is a dry curry which is served as a side dish with rice/roti,it is a simple and easy to prepare with less ingredients which is nutritious and delicious.

Ingredients –
Whole green moong dal – 1 cup
Egg – 5 no’s
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Onions – 3 medium chopped
Curry leaves – 3 springs
Green chilies – 5 no’s chopped
Coriander leaves – 1 cup chopped
Salt to taste
Oil to fry.
How to prepare or make whole moong egg curry –
Pressure cook whole moong dal for 3 whistles by adding salt to taste ,drain out the water of it and keep aside.
Heat a kadai add oil in it ,when oil is hot add mustard seeds when it starts to crackle, add chopped green chilies,curry leaves fry for a while,add chopped onions fry till translucent.
Break the eggs and add into the kadai one by one
Add salt to taste scramble the eggs,stir fry till eggs are cooked/done,
Add cooked whole moong dal into it and mix altogether
Finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix once again.
Whole moong dal egg curry is ready to be served with rice/roti.
