Vegetable grill sandwich is a favorite snack dish for all age groups, these sandwiches are delicious made with steamed veggies and grilled. It is a healthy and a perfect breakfast dish to start your day. Sandwich is a very yummy snack which can had as a breakfast dish or tea time snack. It is an ideal snack for breakfast, brunch or for school lunchboxes.

Preparation time – 20 min

Cooking time – 15 min

Serves – 4

Ingredients –

Bread slice (brown bread or white bread)

Green chutney

Melted butter

Boiled and sliced potato slices

Cucumber slices

Onion slices

Tomato slices

Liquid cheese/mayonnaise

Chaat masala powder

Method –

To make or to prepare vegetable grill sandwich –  

To prepare Green chutney follow the procedure of my recipe in my blog.

Keep all the ingredients ready as shown in the image above.

Brush melted butter on a slice of bread.

Apply green chutney on the other side evenly.

Arrange sliced vegges on it.

Take another slice of bread apply liquid cheese/mayonnaise, spread it

Sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala powder over veggies

Place the prepared bread slice over the vegges and brush melted butter over it and keep ready, continue the same procedure for the other bread slices.

Grease with liquid butter and preheat the grill toaster for maximum temperature and set ready. Arrange prepared sandwich on the grill toaster and toast  it until it is done.

When it is done, remove it from the grill toaster, transfer it to a serving dish and Enjoy Vegetable grill sandwich with green chutney and tomato sauce.

Note – 

You can add vegetables of your choice like carrot, capsicum, cabbage, lettuce and other vegges.

You can toast the sandwich instead of grilling as per your liking. f you do not have grill maker, you can toast the sandwich on a non-stick pan or tawa, by greasing little butter on both the sides of  the sandwich.

To prepare boiled veggies quickly – peel it, slice it thinly steam it in a pressure pan or in a steamer/ in microwave by adding water and salt to taste.

You can apply/brush melted butter to inner part (before applying green chutney) of the bread slices to adjust your taste.
