Tandoori chicken curry recipe

Tandoori chicken curry is absolutely delicious recipe, perfect dish to serve with any Indian bread, a grayish spicy chicken curry best when served with rice or plain biryani. It is simple to make recipe, in which cooked chicken is added in tandoori curry prepared by grinding flavored spices,

Serves – 4
Ingredients –
To grind –
Onion – 2 medium (roughly chopped)
Clove – 4 no’s
Cinnamon – 1 small stick (1 inch)
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Kashmir chili powder – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbs (home made)
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tsp
Other ingredients –
Onion – 2 no’s chopped
Tomato – 2 no’s Chopped
Green chilies – 4 no’s
Method –
To make or to prepare tandoori chicken curry –
Wash and drain chicken, pressure cook it by adding 1/2 tsp of turmeric and salt, for 1 whistle by adding little water and keep ready.
To grind – add all the ingredients to a mixer jar and make a paste by adding little water and set aside.
Heat a pan by adding oil in it when it is hot add chopped onion and green chilies, saute till onion turns to translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and fry till it becomes soft in a low flame (so that it must be similar to a paste) close the lid to cook it.
Add grounded paste into it and combine well. Add cooked chicken into it saute for a while and add little water and bring it to boil.
Cover the lid and cook in a medium flame,
Bring the curry to a thick consistency and switch off the flame. Garnish it with chopped coriander.
Serve hot with any Indian bread or with any rice variety.
Note – To enhance the taste of the curry, you can add 2 tbs of cashew nut paste or 1/4 cup of fresh cream to the curry.
