South Indian Prawns biryani recipe

Try this south Indian easy to make prawns biryani recipe which is simple and easy to make recipe, it is a south Indian style of preparation of prawns biryani, a coconut based delicious biryani recipe, Spicy, tangy and utterly delicious, a truly awesome meal for all prawn-lovers !!
Ingredients:
For marination –
Prawns – 1 kg
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Yogurt – 2 tbs
Salt – 1 tsp
For seasoning –
Curry leaves – 4 springs (optional)
Onion – 3 medium (thinly sliced)
Tomato – 1 medium chopped
To grind –
Coconut – 1/2 cup
Garlic – 8 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch roughly chopped
Onion – 1 small roughly chopped
Green chilies – 2 no’s
Byadgi red chilly – 4 no’s
Short dry chilies – 3 or 4 no’s
Cardamom – 3 no’s
Cloves – 5 no’s
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
Pepper corns – 10 no’s
Tamarind – 1 marble size ball
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Coriander – 1 small bunch
Cashew nut – 10 no’s
Other Ingredients –
Basmati or jeera samba rice – 1 1/2 cup
Oil
Ghee – 1 tbs
Salt to taste
Method:
Devein prawns, rinse in water, drain it and set aside, Add all the ingredients to marinate, mix properly and set aside for 1 hr.
Add all the ingredients to grind in a mixer jar, ground it to a smooth post and keep ready.
Heat a heavy bottomed pan by adding oil in it, when it is hot, add chopped onion and fry until it turns to light brown.
Ensure that onions turned to light brown, then add chopped tomatoes,
Saute until tomato becomes soft.
Add grounded masala paste into it, fry until oil separates to the edge of the pan.
Add marinated prawns into it, combine, saute for 3 min.
Rinse rice (jeera samba Or soak basmati rice for 15 min, drain it) add in, combine
Add 2 1/2 cup of water to cook 1 1/2 cup of rice, add salt to taste, bring it to boil, when it starts to boil, make a low flame and cook in a low flame for 20 min.
Saute once or twice before it is done. Add 1 tbs of ghee on the prepared rice, mix together. Switch off the flame.
Aromatic South Indian Prawns biryani is ready to enjoy.
