Semolina Chana Dal Payasam I Rave Kadlebele payasa

Semolina Chana Dal Payasam is a tasty and An easy sweet dish made to offer God, I usually make this dish on Guru Raghavendra Aradhana day, a quick and easy sweet dish with only a few ingredients. Combination of semolina, chana dal, ghee, and jaggery which makes a healthy and delicious sweet dish, just give it a try and enjoy for any time of the day.
Ingredients:
Chana dal – 1/4 cup
Semolina – 1/2 cup
Jaggery – 3/4 cup crushed (adjust to your taste)
Ghee – 2 Tsp
Cardamom powder – 1 pinch (optional)
Method:
Rinse chana dal, add it to a pressure cooker, add 1 cup of water and Pressure cook Chana dal for 2 whistles and keep ready.
Heat a pan add 1 or 2 tsp of Ghee in it, when it is hot add crushed Jaggery into it, stir for a while,
Add cooked chana dal into it, add 1 1/2 cup of water to it, bring it to boil until the jaggery dissolves completely. (you can add more water to adjust to your consistency)
Now add semolina into it slowly by stirring continuously as the is no lumps in it. (no need to fry semolina for this recipe) cook it for 3 min in a low flame. Add a pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
Healthy and easy Semolina chana dal Payasam is ready to offer God.
Note –
To make it more delicious you can add milk other than water, you can also grated coconut and add roasted nuts in preparation.
