Sauce chicken is a delicious, fast and easy appetizer, prepared by adding sauces like tomato sauce, chili sauce and soy sauce with other simple ingredients, deep fried and seasoned with sauces, so the name sauce chicken.  A great appetizer for kids which is tasty, tangy and yummy.

Preparation time – 10 min

Marination – 1 hr

Cooking time – 15 – 20 min

Ingredients –

Chicken – 500 gm

For marination –

Soy sauce – 1 tsp

Pepper powder – 1 tsp

Salt

All purpose flour – 1/4 cup

Coriander – 1 bunch chopped

Method –

For marination –

1. Rinse chicken in water for twice or thrice in water, drain the water in it and add soya sauce, pepper powder and salt. Marinade for 1 hour.

2. After marination add all purpose flour and chopped coriander, mix it without adding water.

3. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying, when it is hot deep fry chicken pieces to brown and crisp for both sides, cook in a medium flame until chicken is done/cooked. When it is done remove it with a slotted spoon, drain excess oil in it and set aside on a paper towel.

Ingredients for seasoning –

Chilly flakes – 1 tbs

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Soy sauce – 1 tsp

Chilly sauce – 1 tsp

Tomato sauce – 1 tbs

Salt

Oil – 1 tbs

Method –

To make or to prepare Sauce chicken –

Heat a shallow pan by adding oil in it, when it is hot add ginger garlic paste fry until you get a fresh aroma in a low flame, then add chilly flakes and saute it in oil.

Add all sauces and saute in a low flame, add little salt

Add fried chicken into it.

Toss it well with the sauce. (so that the sauce must coat each pieces)

Remove from the flame.

Transfer the dish to a serving dish and Enjoy !!! Sauce chicken as an appetizer or as a side dish for fried rice or noodles.
