Rava roti recipe I Rave rotti I Semolina Paratha

Rava Rotti is a quick and easy breakfast variety made with a fine variety of semolina, chopped raw onion, freshly grated carrot, cumin, coriander are the key ingredients to make this recipe, a comforting and a healthy breakfast which can be prepared in a short time with simple ingredients. A routine breakfast dish prepared around Mysore Bangalore region, which also makes an easy lunchbox dish for kids. Rava Rotti is often served with peanut chutney which makes a yummy combination, sure give it a try.

Take all the above ingredients in a bowl, toss it well.
Then add little by little water (normal water) mix it to a dough little soft than a chapati dough, which must be easy to spread/for tapping, the consistency of the dough must not be too soft or too thick.
Grease a flat pan with oil, take an orange-sized ball of prepared dough, keep it in the center of the pan, grease/wet your fingers with oil/water,
go on tapping to spread to a circular thin rotti as shown in the image. Now Heat the pan on a maximum/medium flame, drizzle oil on it, cook covered/without covering also goes well.
cook until the bottom turns to golden brown. Once it is done flip it with a spatula, it comes out easily, drizzle oil, Continue to cook until the bottom gets light brown.
Serve straight from the pan with red peanut chutney made with roasted peanuts, coconut, a garlic pod, dry chilly and salt which makes the best combination with hot Rava rotti.
