Radish salad recipe

Radish when consumed raw has several health benefits like regulating the thyroid hormones and controlling high blood pressure. Radish salad or Mulangi pachadi is a tasty salad matches as a best side dish for any south Indian meal.
Eating raw vegetables are considered good for health. One who hates eating radish in curries due to it’s smell, this recipe will be loved by all as it gets the flavor by seasoning (by seasoning the smell of the radish will disappear).
Preparation time – 5 to 10min
Cooking time – 2min just for seasoning.
Serves : 3 to 4
Ingredients :
Radish – 1 cup (grated)
Coriander leaves – 1 small cup (grated)
Coconut – 1/2 cup (grated)
Curds – 1 small cup
Salt to taste
For Seasoning :
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Red chilies – 2 nos
Curry leaves – 10 to 12 nos
How to prepare / make mulangi pachadi
Mix all the ingredients ( except seasoning ingredients).
Take a tadka pan, add 1 tsp of oil heat it and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds when it starts to crackle add red chilies and curry leaves.
(Note: Do not burn the seasoning as it gives a bad taste to the salad)
Mix all together and enjoy as a salad.
