Pudina (mint) chutney is a dip made from mint leaves it is an extremely flavor condiment, and it is served in a small quantity as side dish with dosa, chapatti, poori and idli.

 

 

Preparation time – 5 to 8 min

Serves – 3 to 4.

INGREDIENTS:

Coconut  – 1 cup

Roasted peanuts – 2 tbs

GREEN CHILI- 2 nos

Pudina (mint) -1 bunch

Coriander – 1 bunch ( chopped)

Tamarind – 1 small piece

Mustard seeds  – 1/2 tsp

Urad dal – ½ tsp

Curry leaves – 10 to 12 leaves

Oil –  1 tsp

How to prepare Pudina chutney 

Step -1 – To prepare the chutney

Take a mixer jar, add all the above ingredients make a paste of it

(not to be grounded finely).

Step-2-Seasoning of chutney

1.Add  spoon of oil to a Kadai.

2.Add mustard seed, when it starts to sparkle, add urad dal, fry till it turns to golden brown. Add curry leaves allow it to sparkle and add this seasoning to prepared chutney.

Pudina (Mint) chutney is ready to be served.
