Pomfret masala fry recipe

Pomfret masala fry is an easy to make fish fry made with simple spices which makes a tasty fish fry.

 

  

 

 

 

Ingredients:

White pomfret fish – 4 no’s

Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp

Lemon juice – 1 Tsp

Chilly powder – 1 tbs

Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp

Chat masala – 1 tsp

Maida/all purpose flour – 1 tbs

Corn flour – 1 tbs

Ajwain/carom seeds- 1/2 tsp crushed or powdered

Gram flour – 1 tbs

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil for shallow fry

Method:

Clean the fish  make  3-4 incisions on each fish and keep aside

Take a mixing bowl add ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, chili powder, turmeric powder, maida, gram flour, cornflour, chat masala,garam masala powder, ajwain, and salt to taste mix all together by adding water to idli batter consistency.

Apply prepared paste to fish on both sides marinate the fish for 2 hrs in a refrigerator.

Remove the marinated fish from the refrigerator before 15 min when you prepare.Take a kadai heat it by adding oil to it. Shallow fry the marinated fish in a medium flame

Fry till it turns to golden brown and crispy flip to the other side and fries till it is done.
