Pomfret fish Fry recipe

Pomfret simple fish fry is an easy to make a recipe with simple ingredients, A fish fry is a great appetizer or a side dish for a meal. To make a fish fry it needs a good marination to absorb all the flavors and spices, In this recipe Fish is marinated with fresh curry leaves and coriander leaves with other spices which makes a delicious fish fry. Do try and enjoy as a side dish for a meal.
Ingredients:
White Pomfret – 500 gm
For marination –
Chilly powder – 1 tbsp (adjust to your taste)
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs chopped finely
Coriander – small bunch chopped finely
Lemon juice – 1tsp
Rice flour – 2 or 3 tbs
Salt to taste
Other ingredients –
Oil to shallow fry
Sliced onion and lemon wedges to serve

Method:
Rinse and clean the fish,
Add all the ingredients in a bowl mix it with a medium thick paste (similar to dosa batter consistency).
Apply to fish pieces, arrange it on a plate. Marinate it for 3 hrs in a refrigerator.
Remove the marinated fish before 20 min before you cook, heat a shallow pan, add 2 or 3 tbs of oil in it when it is hot arrange 2 or 3 pieces of fish in it, shallow fry it on a medium flame for 3 to 4 min, until the base turn to golden, then gently flip it to the other side and continue to cook on the same flame for 2 to 3 min until it turns to golden and crisp.
Serve hot straight from the pan with lemon wedges and sliced onions.
