Paneer tikka or how to prepare paneer tikka

Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. It is one of the best paneer recipe that can be served as a starter.It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka which can be easily prepared at home.
Preparation time – 5 min
Marination time – 1 hour
Cooking time – 5 to 10 min
Ingredients –
Paneer/cottage cheese cubes – 250 gm
Capsicum – 1/2 each different color diced
Onion – 1/2 diced
Tomato – 1/2 diced
Yogurt/hung curd – 4 tbs
Ginger,garlic paste – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Butter – 2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Chaat masala 1/4 tsp
Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
Skewer or toothpick
Salt to taste
Procedure –
Take a bowl add yogurt,ginger garlic paste,add all dry powders chilly powder,coriander ,cumin powder,garam masala powder,turmeric powder butter,kasuri methi lemon juice and mix altogether add paneer cubes mix properly and marinate for 1 hour
Mix all the vegetables take a skewer or a tooth pick arrange them as shown in the image.
Take a frying pan or a sauce pan add oil/butter,heat it in a medium flame fry till golden color flip to the other side and continue the same.
Paneer tikka is ready to be served.
