Mutton keema vada recipe

South Indian cuisine is known for delicious recipes with healthy ingredients and spices. Here is  a yummy mouth watering recipe for all non-veg lovers. It is a typical Karnataka style traditional recipe which is loved by all age groups. Mutton keema vada is minced mutton prepared by adding spices and fresh herbs which is irresistible in taste. Home made aromatic & tasty recipe.

Preparation time : 15 min

Cooking time : 5 to 8 min

Serves : 4 to 5

Ingredients:

Minced lamb mutton – 500 gms

To grind –

Onion – 1no ( cut into medium pieces)

Ginger – 1 small piece

Garlic – 10 to 12 cloves

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Clove – 4 no

Pepper corns – 1 tsp

Cinnamon – 3 nos

Mint and coriander leaves – 1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Procedure tomake or to prepare  Mutton kheema vada –

Add all the above ingredients into a mixer jar and make a paste without adding water and keep aside.

Ingredients to prepare Kheema vada mixture:

Onion  – 3 nos ( chopped finely)

Pudina – 1 cup ( chopped)

Coriander – 1 cup ( chopped)

Dil leaves – 1 cup ( chopped)

Gram flour – 2 tbs

Raw egg – 1 no

Add grounded masala paste to minced mutton and mix well. Then add all gram flour, mix properly then add egg mix all together,  add chopped onion, chopped fresh herbs and mix all together and keep aside.

Take a frying pan, heat oil to deep fry keema vada take a small part of a mixture and make a round shaped flat vada on your left hand palm and deep fry to golden colour, flip on the other side to cook the other side, make a medium flame so that mutton keema cook properly.

Fry till it gets crispy and it is ready to serve.
