Methi Paratha recipe.

Methi Paratha is one of a popular and a nutritious breakfast recipe. Methi paratha is an Indian flaky, flat bread made up of whole wheat flour and fenugreek greens or methi leaves, this methi parata can be had plain with ghee/butter or with pickle/ yogurt. They also make a good tiffin/lunch box dish and stay soft when packed.

Clean and chop methi leaves(leaves part) finely and drain the water in it and keep ready.
Take a mixer jar to add all the ingredients to grind, blend it to a fine paste without adding water.
Heat a pan, add 2 tbs of oil in it, when it is hot add cumin seeds, when it starts to crackle add chopped methi leaves fry until it becomes soft, until you get a fresh aroma, then add blended paste and fry for 30 seconds. Add salt to taste.
Turn off the flame, add water, add whole wheat flour and knead it make a soft dough.
Make medium size balls of the dough. Roll the dough round shape by dusting flour.
Cook the methi paratha with some oil/ghee
fry until it turns to light brown and then flip to cook another side.
Serve methi paratha hot with butter, ghee/ pickle /yogurt or chutney.
