Lemonade with basil seeds made with freshly squeezed lemon juice is the easiest and best homemade juice which is good for health in summer and keeps your health cool. The health benefits of Sabja seeds are tremendous. It is antioxidant-rich, cools the body, aids digestion, cures constipation, cold, skin infections, and respiratory disorders. A refreshing, healthy, and super coolant drink.

Ingredients:

Lemon – 1 or 2 no’s

Sugar – 1 or 1 1/2 tbs adjust to your taste

Sabja seeds – 1 tbs soaked

Salt – 1 pinch

Ice cubes

Mint leaves for garnishing

Method:

Soak Sabja seeds in water for 10 to 15 mins with 1/2 cups of water in a bowl. When you observe a transparent jelly-like coating over the seed, they are ready for use.

In a bowl, add the juice of one or 2 lemon, sugar, and salt to 2 cups water. Mix well until sugar dissolves completely. Strain the juice. Add water and Sabja seeds along with any leftover water.

Pour to a serving glass. Add a few ice cubes, garnish with pudina leaves. Enjoy chilled.
