Kingfish green masala fry is an aromatic and flavorful fish fry made with fresh herbs and spices. A simple and easy yet very very tasty fish fry, hope you will try it for sure.
Ingredients:
Kingfish – 1 kg
Corn flour – 1/4 cup
Curry leaves – 2 springs chopped
Oil to shallow fry
To grind –
Coriander – 1 small bunch
Pudina – 1 small bunch
Green chilies – 4 to 5 no’s adjust to your taste
Garlic – 6 or 7 cloves peeled
Ginger – 1/2 inch
Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 medium
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:
Rinse and clean the fish, drain the water in it, and set aside.
Rinse coriander, pudina, and green chilies drain the water in it with a colander,
Take a mixer jar to add garlic cloves, ginger, coriander, pudina, green chilies, black peppercorns, ajwain, salt to taste, turmeric, and lemon juice blend it to a smooth paste. (add very little water to grind if necessary.)
Check the salt add if needed, apply the ground green paste to all the fish slices evenly, then sprinkle cornflour and chopped curry leaves, rub it well for both sides.
Set aside for at least 1 hour to marinate in a refrigerator. (you can marinate for a long time for 7 to 8 hrs in the refrigerator) remove the fish from the refrigerator before 30 mins before shallow frying.
Heat oil a frying pan and fry the fish on medium heat,
Fry them until crisp on a medium flame. gently flip them carefully till all the sides are equally and evenly browned.
Once done remove it on an absorbent paper to drain excess in it. Continue the same for the remaining fish.
Kingfish green masala fry is ready to serve. Always serve fish fries hot and immediately straight from the pan to the serving plate
