Hurigadale chutney or how to prepare roasted gram chutney

This roasted gram chutney recipe is commonly made as part of South Indian recipes.It is also known as Puttani Chutney/ Hurigadale chutney in Karnataka , very tasty chutney for dosa ,idli,bajji and other south Indian snacks.

Preparation time- 10 min

Serves – 4

Ingredients:-

Coconut – 1 cup [grated]

Roasted gram – 1 cup

Green chilly – 2 no s

Ginger – 1/2 inch

Tamarind – 1 small piece[optional]

Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup

Salt to taste.

Procedure :-

Take a mixer jar add all the above ingredients make a paste [ so that not to be grounded finely ] by adding water.

Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and enjoy with any dosa, idli and other south Indian snacks.
