Hariyali chicken recipe

Hariyali chicken, as the name suggest involves green vegetables and condiments grounded to paste which includes coriander, mint, green chili and capsicum. It is delicious and mouth watering and it is easy to cook. 

Preparation time – 10 min

Marination time – 2 hours (minimum)

Serves – 4

Ingredients :

Boneless chicken – 400 gms

Yogurt – 2 tbs

Turmeric  – 1 tbs

Green chili – 9 to 10 nos

Capsicum – 1 no ( cut into medium pieces)

Coriander – 1 bunch

Mint leaves – 1 bunch

Ginger – 1 inch

Garlic – 8 to 10 cloves

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Kasuri methi – 1 tsp

Butter – 1 tsp 

Salt to taste

Oil to fry

Procedure: for Marinating

Take a mixer jar add green chili, capsicum, coriander leaves, mint leaves,ginger, garlic grind together.

Take a bowl, add boneless chicken pieces in it, mix yogurt, salt, turmeric powder and grounded paste as above, add 1 tsp of garam masala, kasuri methi, 1 tsp of butter and mix altogether  and marinate for 2 to 4 hours.

Procedure to fry :

Take a grill pan or a flat tawa, add little oil fry in a high flame by turning both sides till it becomes crispy.

Delicious, aromatic Hariyali Chicken is ready to enjoy.
