Green peas mushroom curry I ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಪೀಸ್ ಮಶ್ರೂಮ್ ಕರ್ರಿ

Green peas mushroom curry is a yummy curry to serve as a side dish for chapati or poori. A simple side dish made with mild spices in south Indian style, that can be made in a short time with simple ingredients for the everyday cooking recipe.
Ingredients:
Button Mushroom – 200 gms
Green peas – 1 cup
Onion – 1 or 2 no’s chopped
Green chilly – 2 no’s slit
Tomato – 1 chopped
Coriander – 1 tsp
Chilly powder – 3/4 tsp (adjust to your taste)
Salt to taste
Oil – 3 tbs
To pound –
Garlic – 4 pods peeled
Ginger – 1/2 inch peeled
Clove – 3 no’s
Cinnamon – 1 small stick
To grind –
Coconut – 1/2 cup grated
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Method:
Cut mushroom into small pieces or to your desired shape and immerse in water.
Pound or make a paste of ginger-garlic, clove, cinnamon without adding water and keep ready.
Heat a pan with oil, when it is hot add onion, green chilies, saute until the onion turns translucent
Then add the pounded ginger-garlic mixture,
saute until you get a nice aroma.
Add chopped tomatoes, saute until it becomes soft.
Add coriander and chilly powder, saute for few mins,
Add mushroom and green peas, toss it well, add salt to taste.
Meanwhile, grind coconut and turmeric into a fine paste.
Add the coconut paste into, mix, add little water to adjust the consistency.
Bring the curry to boil for a few mins.
Finally, add chopped coriander. Mix with the curry.
