Green chutney a quick chutney which is versatile and can also be used as an accompaniment with snacks to many chaat, snacks, as a spread for sandwiches, enjoyed with parathas, dhoklas, samosas, cutlet etc. Delicious fresh green chutney made using fresh coriander and mint leaves. 

Preparation time – 10 min

Cooking – nil

Ingredients –

Coriander – 1 bunch

Mint leaves – 1 bunch

Onion – 1 medium sized

Lemon – Juice of 1 medium lemon

Green chilies – 4 no’s

Salt to taste

Sugar – 1 tsp (optional)

Procedure – 

Rinse coriander leaves, mint leaves well in water and roughly chop them.

Add mint, coriander,green chilies, roughly chopped onion, salt and sugar in the mixer jar, add little water to grind it to a paste.

Make a smooth paste, add fresh lemon juice into it and mix properly.

Transfer prepared chutney to a serving bowl and enjoy as an accompaniment with snacks  to many chaat, snacks, as a spread for sandwiches enjoyed with parathas, dhoklas, samosas, cutlet etc. Preserve it in a air tight container and keep it in refrigerator for more than a weak.
