Gobi Manchurian or how to make Gobi manchurian

Gobi Manchurian is a popular Indo Chinese dish. A delicious appetizer or a side dish for noodles or fried rice, Cauliflower is gobi in hindi,so that name Gobi Manchurian. This is super delicious appetizer or one of the best starters you can prepare easily, always a kids favorite dish, do try and enjoy for any occasion.
Preparation time – 10 min
Cooking time – 15 to 20 min
Serves – 4
Ingredients: ( to fry Gobi)
Medium gobi(cauliflower) – 1 medium
Maida – 3 tsp
Cornflour – 3 tsp
Besan flour – 2 tsp
Chili powder – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Procedure to fry Gobi:
Take a bowl add cauliflower, mix all the above ingredients by adding little water to it and mix, so that the batter should not be dripping from the Gobi.
In a frying pan heat oil, deep fry Gobi till golden brown in colour fry in small batches and keep a side.
Ingredients : ( to make Manchurian)
Onion – 1 medium ( chopped)
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Spring onion – 1 cup ( cut into medium pieces)
Capsicum – 1 cup
Tomato sauce – 1 tbs
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Chili sauce – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves ( chopped) – 1 small bunch
Salt to taste
Chopped cabbage for garnishing
Procedure to make Manchurian:
Take a pan heat oil, add ginger garlic sauté for a while add onion sauté till it turns translucent then add spring onion and capsicum keep sauté. Then add all sauces mix, now add deep fried Gobi mix properly. Add pepper powder and a pinch of salt.
Transfer it to a serving plate garnish it with fresh cabbage, coriander (chopped) and enjoy with tomato sauce.
