French toast recipe

French toast, also known as egg bread. It is a dish made of bread dipped in beaten eggs and then toasted on a flat pan by applying butter or oil. Sometimes it’s nothing better than a French toast for a Sunday breakfast which is loved by all age groups. It can be served for breakfast, or as an evening snack or for kids lunch box dish.
Preparation Time – 8 min
Cooking time – 10 min
Serves – 4.
Ingredients:
Sandwich bread – 1 pound
Egg – 7 to 8
Salt to taste
Milk- 1 cup
Oil/butter to fry
Procedure:
Take a bowl break the eggs into it, add salt to taste and whisk together till it is well blended, then add milk and whisk again together and keep it aside.
Heat a flat tawa/frying pan, grease it with oil keep in a medium flame. Take a bread slice, dip the bread in egg and milk mixture.
Fry the slice until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
Serve hot, that’s it french toast is ready.
