Crisp prawns recipe

Crisp prawns is a quick and easy to make recipe with simple ingredients which makes a tasty and yummy appetizer or a starter.It is prepared by marinating prawns with spices and deep fried in oil.
Preparation time – 15 min
Marination time – 2 hrs
Cooking time – 10 min
Ingredients –
Prawns – 250 gm
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Lemon juice /vinegar – 1/2 tsp
Corn flour – 1 tbs
Maida/all purpose flour – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 bunch
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
How to prepare crisp prawns
Clean the prawns and keep aside.
Take a bowl add chilly powder,turmeric powder,lemon juice/vinegar,and salt
Mix together and add cleaned prawns
Marinate for 2 hrs in refrigerator
After marination add cornflour and maida/all purpose flour,mix together [no need of adding water]
Heat oil in a kadai ,when oil becomes hot add prawns one by one,fry till it becomes golden brown and crisp
Remove from oil drain out the excess oil and keep aside
In the same oil add curry leaves and deep fry till crisp,remove and drain
Mix deep fried prawns and curry leaves together and enjoy as a appetizer.
