Cream Tomato Pasta

Pasta is a staple dish of Italian cuisine. Cream tomato pasta is a yummy kids favorite dish, A fast and flavorful Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta, perfect for a weeknight or holiday meal. I prepared with Penne pasta with fresh cream, milk, onion, tomato, basil, seasoned with butter. Basil leaves is a fragrant herb which is popularly used in Italian cuisines. The strong flavour gives a refreshing and an unique taste to the dish. An easy to make recipe in a short time.
Ingredients:
Penne pasta – 2 cup
Butter – 2 tbs
Garlic – 1/2 tsp chopped
Onion – 1 1/2 cup chopped finely
Tomato – 1 cup chopped finely
Cream – 200 ml
Milk – 1/2 cup boiled and cooled
Dried basil – 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:
Boil 5 cup of water in a vessel by adding 1 tsp of salt, when it begins to boil add penne pasta into it, cook it for 15 min /until done (follow the instructions given on the pack to cook pasta). Once done remove from the flame, drain the water using a colander, add warm water drain the water again completely and keep ready.
Keep all the ingredients handy to start. Heat a shallow pan by adding butter in it, when it melts add chopped garlic, saute until you get a fresh aroma in a medium flame, add onion fry until it turns to translucent, then add chopped tomatoes fry until soft
Cover the lid and cook it for 3 min in a low flame
Add fresh cream mix it bring it to boil,
Add milk bring it to boil, add sugar and salt to taste, add 1/2 portion of dried basil, stir
Add cooked penne pasta into it, toss it well
Cook in a low flame for 2 to 3 min, cover the lid and cook in a low flame, remove from the flame, finally add pepper powder and remaining basil mix well.
Serve hot and Enjoy !!!
Note –
You can add more quantity milk and cream to adjust to your taste and consistency.
You can also make the same recipe with spiral pasta.
