Chicken Manchurian recipe

A traditional and famous Chinese dish. Chicken Manchurian is a good appetizer / starter. This is a must try recipe. Fried chicken balls in a spicy sauce batter. It can be served with tea as a snacks in the evening.
Preparation time – 15 to 20 min
Cooking time – 10 to 15 min
Serves – 4
Ingredients: for preparation of chicken balls
Minched chicken – 250 gms
Onion – 2nos (chopped)
Cabbage – 1 cup ( Chopped)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 2 tsp
Chili sauce – 2 tsp
Cornflour – 1 tbs
Maida(all purpose flour) – 1/2 tbs
Egg – 1no
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Ingredients for preparation of chicken Manchurian
Oil – 3 tsp
Onion – 1 cup ( chopped)
Capsicum – 1 cup ( chopped)
Spring onion – 1/2 cup (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 2 tsp
Chili sauce – 2 tsp
Tomato sauce – 1 tbs
Cornflour – 1 tbs( mixed with 2 tsp of water)
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Fried chicken balls
Coriander chopped for garnishing
Procedure :
Take a bowl add minched chicken add ginger garlic paste, cabbage chopped onion, soya sauce, chili sauce, cornflour, maida (all purpose flour), salt, egg mix altogether ( no need of adding water egg is enough to coat all the ingredients).
Make a ball of the prepared mixture and deep fry in a frying pan till it turns to golden brown in colour cook in a medium flame, fry till the chicken ball becomes crispy and golden in colour, keep aside.
Heat a frying pan (kadai) add oil, onion, chopped capsicum, spring onion, saute for a while, add ginger garlic paste, soya sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce mix altogether add fried chicken ball and mix.
Now add cornflour mixed with water to the mixture and keep stirring and turn off the flame.
Add pepper powder mix altogether.
Transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with a fresh coriander leaves enjoy with a tomato sauce as a appetizer.
