Chicken 65 recipe – yummy appetizer

Chicken 65 is a spicy, red deep fried chicken chunks usually served as quick appetizer accompanied by onion slices, slit green chilies and lemon wedges.This Recipe is a Famous Recipe in South and here is the easiest method for your comfort.It can be prepared for both with bone and for boneless chicken.
Preparation time – 10 min
Marination time – 30 min
Cooking time – 15 min
Serves – 4
Ingredients – For marination –
Chicken(with bone or boneless) – 1 kg
Chilly powder – 1 tbs
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Egg – 1(white)
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Red food colour – few drops
Corn flour – 2 tbs
Rice flour – 1 tbs
Other ingredients –
Curry leaves – 10 springs
Green chilies – 5 no
Oil to fry
How to make or prepare chicken 65 –
Clean chicken pieces and drain out the water in it.
Add all the ingredients for marination except corn flour and rice flour,mix properly and marinade for 30 min
After marination add corn flour and rice flour mix together and keep ready
Heat a kadai by adding oil in it ,when it is hot deep fry curry leaves and slit green chilies ,till crisp,remove from the oil and keep aside.
In the same oil deep fry marinated chicken pieces
Fry till the pieces turns to golden brown and crisp,gently turn to the other side and cook,cook in a medium flame so that it cook both inside and out side,when it is done remove from the oil drain out excess oil in it .Mix with prepared deep fried curry leaves and green chilies.
Juicy ,crunchy chicken 65 is ready,serve hot with Cucumber slices,onion slices and lemon wedges.
