Hakka Poha Recipe I Hasi Avalakki I Avalakki churmuri recipe

Ingredients:
Thin flattened rice/thin poha/paper avalakki – 4 cup
Grated cucumber – 1 cup
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Finely chopped onion – 1 cup
Chopped coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
Chopped green chilies – 3 no
Lemon juice – 1 Tsp
Sugar – 1 tbs (optional)
Salt to taste
For seasoning –
Oil – 2 Tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp (optional)
Curry leaves – 2 springs
Method:
Take a large bowl add all the ingredients along with lemon juice.
Mix properly.
keep it ready.
Heat a tadka pan add 2 tsp of oil in it, when it is hot add mustard seeds when it begins to crackle add curry leaves and turn off the flame.
Add it to the prepared mixture and once again mix properly.
Enjoy the dish with any mixture or with potato chips.Quick, healthy and delicious Avalakki churmuri is ready.
Note – while mixing all the ingredients with poha/thin beaten rice becomes soft and tasty
