Apple pomegranate lettuce salad recipe

Lettuce is a green leafy vegetable. It is an excellent source for vitamins and protein. After all that heavy calorie holiday eating, its time to slow down and eat simple and healthy salad. Apple pomegranate lettuce salad is a fruit mixed vegetable salad, healthy salad and a delicious salad perfect diet recipe, do try and enjoy this healthy salad.

Serves – 4
Ingredients –
Apple – 1 cup chopped
Pomegranate – 1 cup
Carrot – 1 cup grated
Cucumber – 1 cup finely chopped
Lettuce – washed and torn
Honey – 2 tbs
White sesame – 2 tsp (dry roasted)
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala powder – 1 pinch (optional)
Lemon juice – adjust to your taste.
Salt to taste
Method –
To make or to prepare apple pomegranate salad –
Pick a crisp , fresh , head of lettuce and clean it under running water and pat it dry, tear the leaves into small and even pieces and keep it ready.
In a bowl add torn lettuce, apple, pomogranate, cucumber, carrot, roasted sesame, pepper powder salt to taste
Add honey and mix together properly, finally add lemon juice sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala powder, toss well serve chilled.
Enjoy healthy and tasty Apple pomegranate salad.
Notes –
You can add any fruit or nuts/raisins of your choice.
Lettuce should be fresh and green in colour. Ensure there are no black, slimy spots on the leaves of lettuce and they are free from any tears.
