Red Chilly Chutney a Hot and spicy yet delicious chutney prepared with dry chilies as a condiment for many Indian snacks. Ingredients:

Dried Red Chilly – 20 to 25 no’s

Garlic – 1 medium

Cumin – 1 tsp

Jaggery – 1 tbs adjust to your taste

Tamarind – a marble sized ball

Salt to taste

 

 

Method:

Soak Dry chilies and tamarind in Hot water for 30 min.

Drain the water add it to a blender

Add very little water (Use the chilly soaked water) and make it into a fine puree.

Ensure the chilies and tamarind is done, then add cumin, garlic, jaggery, and salt

Blend it to a smooth paste.

Tangy tasty Red Chilly Garlic chutney is ready. Serve with any Indian Breakfast dish/snacks. Transfer it to an airtight container preserve it in a refrigerator.
