Rinse rice, drain the water in it, add it to a pressure cooker
Add all the ingredients to cook, add 4 to 5 cup of water, add salt to taste, pressure cook for 3 whistles. switch off the flame.
When the pressure of the cooker settles by its own, open the lid, stir and keep ready.
Heat oil in a tadka pan, when it is hot add mustard allow it to sizzle, add cumin allow it to splutter, add curry leave saute, remove from the flame,
Add prepared seasoning to cooked mixture, stir/mix well with a spatula.
Serve hot or once cooled enjoy with curd/butter milk and pickle of your choice.

Note –
You can add water to adjust to your taste, if you like watery add more water, pressure cook for 3 whistles, make a low flame for 5 min, then turn off the flame.
